SH-2G(I) Seasprite Helicopter
Our Defence Force has eight SH-2G(I) Seasprite maritime helicopters, operated by No. 6 Squadron. They are flown by Royal New Zealand Navy aircrew and maintained by Royal New Zealand Air Force maintainers.

Polaris MRZR
The MRZR is the militarised version of the popular Polaris RZR recreational vehicle. It is diesel powered, fitted with run flat tires and infra-red lights to aid driving using night vision goggles.

Honouring Te Ao Māori
Te Ope Kātua O Aotearoa is the official Māori name of our Defence Force. Te Ope Kātua O Aotearoa translates to ‘the personnel of the main defensive stockade of New Zealand’ - a metaphor that describes that main line of defence for all of the people of Aotearoa New Zealand.
