On 6 May 2024 Cabinet approved and Executive Council signed an Order in Council to bring into effect the Veterans’ Affairs Approved Information Sharing Agreement. The agreement, which comes into effect on 6 June 2024, was developed with ten other agencies. It will improve information sharing about veterans and other claimants under the Veterans’ Support Act 2014 and the delivery of services, entitlements and support to them.
