Three New Zealand Army soldiers won gold medals at the Touch World Cup in Scotland overnight.
Eugene Hepi and Lisa Harrison Hepi (20110627_WN_S1015650_0004).
Warrant Officer Class Two Greg Mildon is a member of the NZ Over 40's Men's Team which defeated Australia in the finals. Eugene Hepi and Lisa Harrison Hepi played in the NZ Mixed Over 30s team, and also defeated Australia in the finals.
The NZ Men's Open team of which Linton-based Sapper Paul Davis is a member was defeated.
Eugene Hepi and Lisa Harrison Hepi are husband and wife, and are understood to be one of the first married couples to be in the same national team. All four players are Army physical training instructors.
