The Royal New Zealand Navy Band
8 May 2013
Having just returned from performing at Anzac Day commemorations in Gallipoli, the Royal New Zealand Navy Band will be enthralling central North Island audiences during its "Heartland Tour" at the end of May.
Based in Auckland, the ever-popular RNZN Band is taking its music to a wider audience. Band members are playing a range of concerts for school students and the general public in Hamilton, Rotorua, Taupo, New Plymouth and Whanganui.
Featuring exciting young New Zealand singer Rebecca Nelson, the band will perform music to suit all ages.
Whether you like jazz, classical, traditional or pop, the Navy Band’s repertoire of music from Tchaikovsky to the Blues Brothers will get your toes tapping and hands clapping.
The RNZN Band is made up of some of New Zealand's best wind, brass and percussion players and is one of the principal military bands in the country.
