Air Force Red Checkers Over Tahunanui

The Royal New Zealand Air Force’s (RNZAF) formation aerobatics team, The Red Checkers, will showcase its flying skills by performing a formation flying display over Tahunanui Beach, Nelson, this Sunday.

The Air Force has a close association with Nelson; Nelson Airport was an RNZAF Station during the Second World War, and the Air Force still conducts a lot of training in the Nelson region.

What: Red Checkers aerobatic display (weather and serviceability permitting).

Where: Over Tahunanui Beach, Nelson

When: Sunday, 10 February 2013, 12:30pm
