Air Force Red Checkers Over Base Woodbourne

The Air Force’s formation aerobatics team, The Red Checkers, will showcase its flying skills by performing a formation flying display over Royal New Zealand Air Force (RNZAF) Base Woodbourne this Friday, in conjunction with a small careers visit being held on base.

Base Woodbourne will host a small group of students and accompanying teachers and parents on Friday 8 February 2013. Students will take part in recruit activities, tour Base classrooms and facilities, and watch military displays.The visit will culminate with the aerial display, after which the students will have a chance to meet and chat with the pilots.

What: Red Checkers aerobatic display (weather and serviceability permitting)
