See the Royal New Zealand Air Force in action both on the ground and in the air as Air Force Base Auckland hosts their popular air show and open day on Saturday 21 March at Whenuapai. On the ground will be displays by Air Security and the Fire-fighters along with the various trades that make up the RNZAF; while in the air, flight demonstrations will showcase the numerous roles RNZAF aircraft undertake each day.

A mighty USAF C-17 will make a guest appearance and for the car enthusiasts V8 touring and other customised cars - including a hot rod and classic cars - will be on display.

Air New Zealand is also coming to the party with a bio-fuel jet engine - an insight into the future of aviation technology.

Gates open at 9.00am and with the entry fee at $5 a head and children under 10 years free, it promises to be a great day out for the whole family.
